These handmade soaps are made with the addition of local ingredients to reflect our North Idaho environs.
Here in tree country, we love woodsy fragrances as much as floral ones, especially the likes of Balsam Poplar and Fir, and the warm sunny scent of Sweetgrass, all of which have ancient human associations. We infuse top-grade jojoba and olive oils with flowers, barks, leaves and grasses to introduce their scents and properties into these soaps. If you have travelled to the mountains of the northwest, you will be familiar with many of these scents and plants. If you have left your home in the mountains, these might help treat homesickness!
